Junior Boys' Basketball:

This is just a reminder to the Junior Boys basketball team, we will not have practice tonight. Please listen to the announcements for information about our next practice.


Grade 9 Exam Help:

Attention Grade 9s.  Just a reminder that the career center is open today, Friday, at lunch for exam help.  Also will be open Monday & Wednesday next week.  Exams start one week from today!


OELP (Outdoor Edventure Leadership Program):

Attention all G10 students! Are you a kinesthetic learner? Do you prefer to be outside and in nature? Are you adventurous and outgoing? Do you enjoy challenges that take you out of your comfort zone? Do you enjoy traveling and exploring different cultures? If you said yes to these questions this program could be a good fit for you! This course is happening Semester 1 of next year!!!!!!!!!!! Badminton Team Tryouts:

Any students interested in trying out for the school badminton team, are asked to sign up on the bulletin board outside the double gym.  Tryouts are taking place during the first week of semester 2.  See more information on the bulletin board.  You must bring a signed consent form and your student card to the first tryout.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Parsons in the phys. ed. office or Mr. Griese in the language office.


The MOBYSS RV, a youth walk-in clinic, is here today and Every Friday from 10am to 1pm outside the cafeteria.  Are you concerned about birth control, STDs or pregnancy?  Feeling down, anxious or coping with drugs & alcohol?  Maybe you have a sore throat or another injury?  Whatever your concerns, we are here to help.  Services are confidential, free and geared for youth aged 12-25.  The team includes a mental health worker and peer support specialist.   Students can drop in or book an appointment anytime. 



Art Exhibition:

Check out the grade 12 art exhibition, "Reflections" at the Gibson Art Centre!

The grade 12's have been working hard all semester on a variety of different artworks that showcase their talent.  The exhibition runs until February 16, so come out and support Banting Art students at the Gibson Art Centre.
