HEADLINES

Mrs. Belcourt, Miss Mills and 38 students from Banting attended the Ontario Peer Helpers' Association conference at the Ontario Educational Leadership Centre on April 25-27. This years conference, with the theme of "Drumming up Leadership", consisted of workshops and activities to collaborate and learn new ways to infuse leadership and peer support into our community and school. Congratulations to Emily Flood, Maira Hunt, Alex Bushby, Dustin MacNeil, Heather Borsos, and Hanna Shinton, who are this week's athletes of the week! They have shown exceptional athleticism, commitment or improvement.

Do you want to volunteer or get a summer job? Check out Banting's volunteer and student opportunity board located outside of the Phys Ed office. Remember, EVERY student must complete a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer work to graduate. Please submit your "Completion of Community Involvement Activities" sheet to the Guidance Office as soon as it is signed by both you and a parent.
